My rating:
5 Stars…

Soooo. Turns out dog shifter M/M romances are my jam in a big way.

Roman licked the salt away.
I love you, I love you, I love you. Please don't leave me. Please don't leave me!Quote…

What I loved:

Holy shit. Everything. I loved everything in this book. Easily a thousand star rating for me.

Also, not to be psychotically self-absorbed here, but I feel like this book was written for my heart. It's got all the amazing things I didn't know I could expect before I started...

Dogs, obviously. Awesome dogs, with dog behaviours, and dog mannerisms, and dog thoughts. And people who are still coming to terms with not being dogs. A whole town full!! I loved them all a tremendously unhealthy amount.

There was humour! I snortled so hard through so many chapters of this. When Matt goes to the movies. When Roman gets donuts. When he discovers underarm hair. And rubbing one out! And Lance trying to answer Roman's questions. And Penny the poodle, Charlie's suggestion, everyones' concern for Paco, all of it. If I wasn't soaking up the sexy times or crying over the sad stuff, I was snorting in a very ladylike and attractive way.
Quote…Blushing, he decided, was not something he liked very much, as human traits went. And it certainly wasn't nearly as fun as masturbating. Quote…
And there was heartbreak. But it was manageable. Like, I'll tell you now - no animals were killed in the making of this gorgeous little book that means everything to me. This review could have gone a whole other way if that happened, so millions of thank you's coming your way, Eli Easton!

And there was hot M/M smut-tasticness.

Also - I thought it might be weird having smut in a shifter book that has animals, but it really wasn't even a factor at all. So I'm not a creep, which I appreciate tremendously.

Also, sexuality issues, family dramas, etc were resolved quickly and smoothly. And there's great action that made me cheer like a crazy cheering thing.

What I didn’t love:
