Review: Craving Trix (The Aces' Sons #1) by Nicole Jacquelyn

Tuesday, August 9
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

Bellatrix White had loved Cameron Harrison for as long as she could remember. He was her best friend and her closest confidant, and she knew one day he’d be her forever.

Then he broke her heart.

After five years of complete silence between them, the motorcycle club they grew up in comes under attack, giving Cam the opportunity he needs to work his way back into Trix’s life.

Because while Trix was nursing her broken heart, Cam was realizing exactly what he’d given up.

They fall into a relationship easily, but when new tragedies mix with old memories, neither of the lovers are prepared for the fallout.

In a nutshell: description

Long version: I read this pre my No-DNFing challenge but honestly, if I'd read it this week I still would have left it unfinished thrown it out the window. Toxic, gross heroine, unnecessary conflict between Trix and Cam (half the time I had to look at the previous page to understand what Trix was pissed off about). Throw in a weak, misguided pregnancy plot, and a mass murder - it was as though the author realised her leads couldn't carry this many pages.
